Description
2 AT 502 436 B12 AT 502 436 B1
The invention relates to a buoyant device for climbing with at least one of a base towering climbing wall, which is associated with at least one float, which is located outside the lintel of the climbing wall, wherein the climbing wall forms a circumferentially closed and the floating body enclosing climbing body.
A major problem of sport climbing is that even falls from a low height in the falling climber can sometimes have significant injuries. At low heights of up to about 1.5 m, the lintel area is occasionally protected with mats intended to dampen an impact. Even with thick soft-mat floors, injuries, especially foot and ankle injuries, can not be ruled out. A common technical solution to avoid the risk of falling is therefore a safety rope, in which the climber is secured by a second person in the climbing wall. This backup is done for example by means of a rope in which the rope length between climber and a pulley or a carabiner with increasing ascent is shortened. The security of a climbing person by a rope has the disadvantage that always a second person must be present for securing, which has a corresponding insurance training to safely avoid a crash of the climber and to exclude injuries for himself and the climber. Usual climbing equipment are installed on land and have a corresponding space requirement. Especially in summer, this space near lakes and attractive, easily accessible places on the water is a scarce commodity, which causes it is not particularly attractive to build a climbing device on the shore, as lost in this way valuable bed for the bathers.
To solve this problem has been proposed (DE 20 2004 013 342 U1) to create a climbing garden of one or more artificial climbing walls, the climbing walls can be operated on or in the water, and the climber falls in the event of a fall in the liquid medium. The pool, which contains the water, has at the possible immersion points of the climber at least such a depth that a injury-free fall is ensured. For this purpose, the climbing walls can be mounted on a raft, boat or ship, which is anchored to the climbing wall. A disadvantage of this design is that it also has a significant footprint on the water and that, since a climbing wall must have a certain height to be athletic challenging, the center of gravity of the device significantly shifted in height, so care must be taken that the climbing wall in one-sided, possibly also excessive, load does not tip over and endanger bathers or climbers. This is not guaranteed in the known floating climbing devices.
Furthermore, a device according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from DE 1 578 619 A1, in which the climbing body is anchored by means of an anchor chain together with associated anchor weight on the water bottom. In this device, however, there is a considerable risk of injury due to the given design conditions, especially because of the unstable attachment to the water bottom. From another amusement device (DE 543 413 C) it is known to guide the float up and down slidably on a pole anchored in the water bottom. However, a displacement of both known devices is only cumbersome, in particular damage to the devices must be taken in high waves in purchasing.
3 AT 502 436 B1The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a buoyant device for climbing the kind described, on the one hand avoid injuries of climbers in the fall, which provides the largest possible climbing surface in a small footprint and is securely anchored to the water. 3 AT 502 436 B1
The invention solves this problem in that the climbing body is anchored by means of a fortified in the bottom of a stream pile in the water, that the climbing body forms a longitudinal guide for the post and the pile the climbing body extends beyond the surface of the climbing body also and that the climbing body a lifting device listened to the stake and / or the climbing body.
The invention relates to a circumferentially closed climbing body, with at least one climbing wall, thus, for example, in the simplest case, a cylinder or a three- or more-sided prism, which may have upwards overhangs to increase the degree of climbing difficulty. By anchoring the device by means of a pile in or on the ground ensures that the device is always kept safe even in an elevated center of gravity in its vertical position and tilting is therefore no longer possible. For this purpose, the buoyant device may for example be equipped with a keel, which holds the device during transport to the mounting surface in its upright position. After anchoring the device to the pile, the pile ensures a safe upright position of the device on the water. The necessary buoyancy for the device is ensured by the floating body enclosed by the circumferentially closed climbing body. With the invention, a rope or Mattensicherung when climbing unnecessary, since the energy falling through the water is absorbed. On the vertical outer sides of the climbing walls holding and climbing handles are fixed in the usual manner, or provided exemptions in the climbing wall, which allow climbing the device. In this way, a variety of routes with different levels of difficulty, such as with overhangs, can be specified.
A particularly safe and simple way of anchoring the device results from the fact that the post penetrates the climbing body over the surface of the climbing body out and the climbing body forms a longitudinal guide for the post.
The free-floating device can thus smoothly compensate for undulations in the vertical direction without tilting as a result of the wave movements. The climbing body adapts itself to the water level, makes waves automatically with and remains freely rotatable about the guide axis of the longitudinal guide.
In order to safely keep the climbing body in strong swell against damage, the pole protrudes over the surface of the climbing body and the climbing body can be raised by means of a lifting device on the post, whereby the climbing body, and in particular the float, if necessary, lifted from the water surface can be. Likewise, in addition to the lifting device, the climbing body may also include a lashing device for the pile, on the one hand to facilitate anchoring the device and on the other hand to be able to easily pull it out of the ground around the pile, for example after the end of the season, whereby a simple removal of the device for intermediate storage or removal is possible For maintenance purposes it is possible at any time.
However, a particularly simple guidance results if the climbing body in the area of a vertical axis close to the center of gravity hears a tube forming the longitudinal guide for the pole. The tube extends through the climbing body from bottom to top. In order to create a system that is as flexible as possible and that can be used quickly and easily in a wide variety of water depths, it is possible to telescope the pole for length adjustment. However, it could also be provided several in or screwed together piles.
