AT396788B Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kerzenleuchte mit einem becherförmigen Behältnis, das eine aus einer Kerzenmasse mit Docht bestehende Füllung und vorzugsweise einen Deckel mit Lufteintrittsöffnungen aufweisL Derartige Leuchten stehen häufig als Grablichter in Verwendung, können aber auch als Windlichter im 5 allgemeinen, beispielsweise in der Gastronomie, gebraucht werden. Bei den bisherigen Leuchten besteht der wesentliche Nachteil, daß die Füllung nicht vollständig ausbrennt und daß in der Regel im Behältnis eine im unteren Bereich der Behältniswand haftende und zur Behälterachse zu etwa hohlkegelig ausgenommene Kerzenmasse verbleibt, die dann mit dem Behältnis, das meist aus Kunststoff hergestellt ist, weggeworfen wird. Jedenfalls sind die Reste der Kerzenleuchte nicht wieder verwendbar und vermehren den die Umwelt 10 belastenden Müll. Demnach liegt die Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, diesen Mangel zu beseitigen und die eingangs geschilderte Kerzenleuchte so zu verbessern, daß ein vollständiger Ausbrand der Kerzenmasse im Behältnis gewährleistet ist Die Erfindung löst die gestellte Aufgabe dadurch, daß dem Docht etwa entlang des unteren Drittels seiner 15 Länge wenigstens ein anliegender Kurzdocht, gegebenenfalls mit verschieden«’ Dicke und/oder Imprägnierung, zugeordnet ist und die Dochte durch Klemmlappen eines Bodenplättchens gehalten sind. Durch den Kurzdocht bzw. die Kurzdochte wird im unteren Bereich des Behältnisses mehr geschmolzene Kerzenmasse der Flamme zugeführt, so daß diese heißer brennt und dann auch die ganze im Behältnis vorhandene Kerzenmasse verbrennt Dabei hat das Bodenplättchen mit den Klemmlappen die Aufgabe, ein 20 Umfallen der Dochte in der flüssig werdenden Kerzenmasse und damit ein Verlöschen der Flamme zu verhindern. Es bleibt also dann ein leeres Behältnis, in das eine neue Füllung, die als Preßling ausgebildet ist, eingesetzt werden kann, so daß das Behältnis immer wieder verwendbar ist, insbesondere dann, wenn es, wie erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, aus Glas besteht, dessen Entsorgung schließlich wegen der Verwendbarkeit als Rohstoff keine Probleme bereitet. Als Füllung kommt ein Preßling aus Paraffin, ab« auch aus ein« Paraffin-25 Öl- bzw. -Fettkombination in Frage. Der Docht besteht in üblicher Weise aus imprägnierten Baumwollefasem, wobei sich die Länge des Kurzdochtes bzw. der Kurzdocht nach der Zusammensetzung der Kerzenmasse sowie den Abmessungen des Behältnisses richtet.
