In der Zeichnung ist diese Einrichtung in Fig. 1 in Seiten-und Queransicht in ruhendem Zustand, in Fig. 2 bei in Tätigkeit gesetzter Stellung dargestellt ; Fig. 3 zeigt einen Grundriss.
Die Absperrvorrichtung besteht aus einem nicht gezeichneten Absperrhahn, der durch Drehung eines verzahnten Rades h geschlossen werden kann. Senkt sich der rechte Arm des Hebels b nach abwärts, so gleitet das Gewicht c ebenfalls nach abwärts, bis es seinen tiefsten Punkt erreicht hat.
Die Vorrichtung funktioniert in folgender Weise : Füllt sich der Spülbehälter über die normale Höhe hinaus mit Wasser, so steigt der Schwimmer e nach oben und hebt den linken Arm des Hebe) s 6 an. Hiedurch sinkt das Gewicht c nach abwärts und sichert die schräge Lage des Armes . Letzterer hebt den ou n von dem Zahnrad It ab, so dass dieses der Wirkung des Gewichtes 9 Folge leisten kann und den Absperrhahn verschliesst.
