Wiring board for telecommunications, in particular telephone systems
The invention relates to a wiring board, the wires of which are fixed by clamping pieces impressed through the openings in the board, for telecommunication systems, in particular telephone systems.
The invention aims at a design which improves the mechanical and electrical properties of such wiring boards.
A wiring board consists of an insulating support to which electrical conductors are mechanically attached and which is itself the support for the switching elements to be connected by the wires.
It has already been proposed to provide the plate-shaped insulating support with bores or a drilled hole pattern, to press the wires crossing the openings into the openings using a tool and to clamp them in the corresponding opening with a clamping piece designed as a punched-out leaf.
In a further development of this proposed embodiment, according to the invention, the portions of the wire extending over the openings in the plate are in the fastened state through the respective
Clamping piece held at the level of the plate surface, the clamping piece engaging over the wire in a U-shape and with its parts protruding into the opening clamps onto the material of the plate. The practically flat course of the wire also at its fastening points precludes damage to the wire during the fastening process, in particular in the case of an automatic production process. In addition, the wiring diagram-specific routing of the wire is facilitated. The overlapping clamping piece that can be inserted from above secures the wire in a simple manner against lifting off the plate and at the same time against lateral displacement.
The inserted clamping piece remains accessible from the wiring side of the board and can therefore be removed by simply pulling it out, if necessary, without rendering the opening in the board unusable for further use. Since the clamping piece which is clamped with its parts in the opening on the plate material can have any seat along the opening axis, it is also possible to use the same clamping piece for wires of different diameters up to a maximum
Size to apply.
Furthermore, according to the invention, the clamping piece designed as a U-shaped punched piece can be limited by cutting edges lying perpendicular to the axis of its web, which bulge in the area of the section delimiting the web compared to the sections of the cutting edge delimiting the legs. By designing the clamping piece as a U-shaped punched piece, the inserted
Clamping pieces with the same grid spacing in the direction perpendicular to the wires further apart than the plate-shaped clamping pieces, since the U-shaped punching pieces perpendicular to the wire direction only fill the opening along a narrow zone, while the platelets completely occupy the opening area.
The only partial filling of the opening by the punched piece opens up the possibility of passing connecting bridges through these openings from one side to the other when the board is wired on two sides. The leg edges of the clamping piece, which are slightly notched into the material of the plate, improve the fixing of the wire. In addition, it is possible to use the plates several times, since the notches only make the openings unusable for refitting in a small area. In the case of the plate-shaped configuration of the clamping piece, it is necessary for them to be mechanically introduced into the openings that they have an exact diameter.
In the invention

According to the training, however, the tolerance of the hole diameter can be greater, which is why the plate can also be punched and the openings can be given a smaller diameter, so that the pitch of the grid that is customary in printed circuits can be used. By bending the legs and the associated rounding of the web, a bulge is created in the bulging area of the cut edges, which protects the wire and allows the wire to be bent sharply at the fastening point without breaking the wire.
In the following the invention is described with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing, u. between: FIG. 1 shows a punched-out strip for the punched piece for the wiring board according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a view of the fastening point with a cut wiring board,
EMI2.1
view of the fastening point according to FIGS. 2 and 3.
1 shows a strip 1 made of punchable material, from which two punched pieces 2 shown in broken lines are punched out. The punched piece 2 is formed by cut edges that are perpendicular to the axis of its web section 3. 4 limited, which curve in relation to the cut edge course delimiting its leg sections 5.
As shown in FIGS. 2-4, the stamped piece 2 is bent together in a U-shape. This creates a bulge at each end of the web section 3. The width of the leg sections 5 is somewhat larger than the diameter of an opening 6 in a plate 7 made of punchable or drilled insulating material on which wires 8 are to be fixed. In practice, the plate 7 carries a plurality of openings 6 which are punched into the plate and are arranged in such a way that any desired circuit diagram can be realized by the wires 8. To fasten the wire 8, the U-shaped punched piece 2 is pressed into the opening 6 and, in the process, is clamped with its legs 5 on the material of the plate 7.
The wire 8 is not bent or notched by the punched piece 2, but is held by friction. The legs 5 are rounded or pointed at their ends 9, so that the punched piece 2 is guided well during the insertion process. As can be seen from FIG. 4, the opening 6 in the plate 7 is only filled in its middle sector by the width of the web 3, so that it is possible to pass wires through the opening 6 to the side of the punched piece 2. The creepage distance between two adjacent wires 8 is not determined by the distance between the edges of the openings 6, but by the greater distance between the webs 3. The seat of the punch 2 is extremely tight.
Since the edge of the opening 6 is only changed by the edges of the legs 5 during insertion, the same plate can be reloaded when the punch 2 is pressed into the opening 6 at a certain angle to the first inserted and removed punch. The bulge at the ends of the web 3 allows a sharp bending of the wire immediately behind the fastening point in the position 8 'shown in dashed lines. As shown at 8 ″, the wire can be cut off immediately behind the punched piece 2 and therefore does not need a bend to secure its position.
