<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Bearing block for the oscillating front axle of a two-axle device carrier
The invention relates to a bearing block for mounting the front axle, swinging about a horizontal axis, of a two-axis equipment carrier, the frame of which consists of a spar with a box-shaped cross section. There are two-axis equipment carriers with a single-bar frame are known in which the bearing block for the front axle is designed in the form of a clamping sleeve. Other designs of this type with a box-shaped cross section of the equipment carrier, as also already proposed, have a bearing block arranged below the frame.
In these designs, the frame spar of the two-axle equipment carrier is enclosed by the corresponding bearing block design, the arrangement of the steering gear outside the frame spar or on the enclosure of the bearing block design.
In other versions of two-axle equipment carriers with a single-bar frame and box-shaped cross-section, holders are provided on the one hand for fastening the front axle at the front of the single-bar frame or the motor with bearing block and front axle is arranged at the front end of the single-bar frame. The bearing block designs are arranged in a fixed and non-displaceable manner.
The listed designs or designs have the disadvantage that the equipment carrier cannot be used at the respective point of the bearing block attachment on or in front of the single-spar frame and therefore leads to technical and economic defects. In this context, attention should also be drawn to the need for the steering gear to be attached outside or on the single-spar frame, which also creates attachment difficulties when attaching attachments.
The object of the invention is to create a bearing block in which the advantages of the previous types of construction are retained and in addition, while the disadvantages are eliminated, it is possible to utilize the equipment carrier at the respective point of the bearing block attachment with attachments.
According to the invention, it is proposed to create a bearing block for the mounting of the oscillating front axle of a two-axis device carrier which is provided with a guide bar. This guide bar protrudes into a longitudinal recess on the underside of the frame spar. It is also proposed, instead of using a guide strip for the bearing block, to provide the steering gear, which is arranged in the center in a known manner, with a guide attachment. In this case, the longitudinal guide does not give the guide rail of the bearing block, but the guide approach of the steering gear, which also protrudes into the longitudinal recess of the frame spar.
This arrangement according to the invention creates the possibility of accommodating the steering with its parts within the frame spar, as already known, and of keeping or using the respective space on the frame spar above the bearing block for attaching attachments.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. FIG. 1 shows a side view of the bearing block with the frame member, FIG. 2 shows a front view in section along the line A-B in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a front view of a further embodiment in section.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, the bearing block 1 is arranged in a detachable and adjustable manner by means of fastening elements 2 on the underside of the frame spar. In the upper part of the bearing block 1, as also shown in Fig. 2, there is the suspension 4 for the steering gear 5, which with its extension

piece fills the suspension 4 and has the steering lever connections 6 in the free space of the bearing block 1.
For the lateral limitation, the bearing block 1 is equipped with a guide bar 7, which fits into the longitudinal recess 8 of the frame member 3, which is slotted, and the adjustment of the bearing block 1, including the steering gear 5 and oscillating front axle bearing 9 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and thereby changing the the desired center distance.
Another possible embodiment is shown in FIG. 3. In this embodiment, in contrast to the embodiment already explained, the bearing block 1 is not provided with a guide strip 7, but the guide extension 10 of the steering gear 5 protrudes into the longitudinal recess 8 of the frame member 3.
Both design options can be used depending on your choice, since the same effects are achieved.
