reren lateral support arms on the masonry or the like. Is attached.
In the known advertising signs of this type, the support arms are connected to the profiled iron frame by screws and nuts. However, where the screws penetrate the iron frame, it was previously necessary to let the rubber sealing ring on the iron frame end for assembly reasons. However, this created at least two such joints where rainwater and moisture could penetrate into the interior of the sign equipped with electrical lights.
In order to effectively counter this deficiency, the invention proposes that the sealing ring is endless or has only one joint outside the fastening area between the frame and support arms as possible on the underside of the frame, and that the z. B. T-shaped frame screw bolts, which penetrate the perforated sealing ring, so that the sealing ring is pressed against the frame by screwing on the support arms. In this way, leaky joints of the sealing ring ends in the fastening area of the frame screw connection are eliminated in the known advertising signs, so that an absolute tightness of the advertising sign according to the invention is guaranteed.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the z. B. T-shaped frames attached to the mounting points for the support arms.
EMI1.3
The support arms can be formed by a tube with a threaded block firmly inserted at one end, with the tube end and the threaded block pressing against the sealing ring in the tightened state.
The invention is illustrated in more detail in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment. 1 shows a. Diagram of a vertically cut frame including a sealing ring and a support arm, and FIG. 2 shows the advertising sign carrier according to the invention without the usual glass or. Plexiglass panes in the assembled position.
From the figures it can be seen that the z. B.
T-shaped frame 1 made of iron is encompassed by a correspondingly profiled part 2 of a sealing ring 3, which in turn serves as a support for plastic disks, not shown, arranged on both sides of the frame 1 and engaging in angular grooves 4, 5 with flanged edges. The elastic material such. B. rubber existing ring 3 has according to FIG. 2 only one joint 6, u. zw. On the underside of the frame, where the ends 7, 8 of the ring 3 touch. Of course, it is also possible to use an endless sealing ring, which then does not allow rainwater or moisture to penetrate into the interior of the sign at any point.
At the attachment points of the iron frame 1 for the support arms 13, 14 bolts 9, 10 are provided according to the invention, which, in contrast to known designs, are welded to the iron frame 1 and whose threads 11, 12 penetrate the rubber sealing ring 3 only within a narrow hole. Before the support arms 13, 14 are fastened in the masonry 15, the latter are screwed onto the threads 11, 12 of the bolts 9, 10. Only after this activity is the support arms 13, 14 cemented into the masonry 15.
The support arms 13, 14 have, on the one hand, the usual expanding claws and, on the other hand, threaded blocks 16, 17 into which the threaded bolts 9, 10 engage. When tightening the support arms 9, 10 press the latter together with the threaded blocks 6, 7 against. the sealing ring 3 ,. which thereby encloses the narrow passage hole for the threaded bolt 9 or 10 even more closely and completely sealingly.
For the electrical lighting fixtures (not shown) in the interior of the advertising sign according to the invention, a supply line can, under certain circumstances, be led into the interior of the sign through a hole on the underside of the frame and in the sealing ring 3.
The sealing ring 3 can also be vulcanized directly onto the frame 1 and therefore form a unit with the latter.

poor intermediate pieces, not shown in the drawing, with left-hand and right-hand threads, so that the actual support arms can be cemented into the wall and only then can the frame be connected to these support arms by means of the intermediate pieces.
