    Verfahren zur Erzeugung gesinterter oder vorgesinterter bis vollkommen dichter Metall- oder Legierungskörper aus Amalgam   
Aus den verschiedenen Amalgamen werden die Metalle in an sich bekannter Weise durch
Abschwelverfahren gewonnen, z. B. nach Ver- fahren, bei denen der Schwelvorgang in HgDampf oder in einer inerten Atmosphäre durch- geführt wird. Das Endprodukt eines solchen
Schwelvorganges ist ein wegen seiner geringen   Korngrösse   und Oxydfreiheit pyrophores Pulver.
Es muss daher entsprechend früher gemachten
Vorschlägen durch längere Erhitzung im Schwel- raum das Korn vergrössert werden oder für eine
Art der Ausbringung Sorge getragen werden, die eine Berührung mit dem Sauerstoff der Luft ver- hindert. Durch diese notwendigen Massnahmen ist die Weiterverarbeitung des Pulvers erschwert bzw. verzögert.

   Es ist auch vorgeschlagen wor- den, aus dem Amalgam durch Zusammenpressen und Erhitzen unter Abschwelung des Queck- silbers Sinterkörper in der Weise herzustellen, dass Schwelvorgang und Pressung abwechselnd, zeitlich aufeinanderfolgen. Bei diesem Vorgang bedingt sowohl die diskontinuierliche Beschik- kung und Entleerung des Schwelraumes als auch die schrittweise vorgenommene immer wieder unterbrochene Pressung bzw. Schwelung grosse
Nachteile. Diese sowie die bei dem eingangs erwähnten Verfahren beschriebenen Schwierig- keiten werden durch die vorliegende Erfindung vermieden. 



   Die Erfindung betrifft ein während des
Schwelvorganges angewandtes Verfahren zur
Formgebung. Vorteilhafterweise werden auf diese Art kontinuierlich Drähte, Bänder oder andere Walzwerkprodukte aus dem Pulver her- gestellt. 



   Gemäss der Erfindung werden gesinterte oder vorgesinterte bis vollkommen dichte Metall- oder Legierungskörper aus Amalgam, durch
Abschwelung des Quecksilbers im Vakuum,
Quecksilberdampf- oder inerter Atmosphäre, dadurch hergestellt, dass das flüssige oder vorzugsweise plastische Amalgam bezw. die
Mischung verschiedener Amalgame kontinuier- lich in nicht oxydierender Atmosphäre der Heiz- zone zugeführt wird und die Formgebung durch
