EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The invention relates to an electrical ignition device for gas devices with a filament winding arranged around the burner mouth and held in place by a refractory support ring.
A device of this type is already known, but it has a rather complicated construction and in it the resistance winding is located in a cavity in the ring surrounding the burner mouth.
The advantage of the present ignition apparatus is that it can be made and fastened significantly more easily, which is achieved by simply attaching the wire winding to the outside of the refractory ring provided with helical grooves.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown, for example, u. Between. Fig. 1 shows the ignition body and Fig. 2 shows its attachment around the burner mouth of a Koehburner. Fig. 3 shows a button for putting the device into operation.
The ignition device consists of a refractory support ring 2 which is arranged around the mouth of the burner head 1 and which is provided with helical grooves to accommodate the filament winding 3. In an angular extension 4 of the ring 2 there are two terminal screws 5. Hooks 6 are used to hang the support ring in the burner mouth. The extension 4 protrudes into a tube 7 to protect the electrical connection line 8 and the clamping screws 5. The protective tube 7 is attached to the burner tube by means of a clamp 9.
Any button or the double-pole button shown in FIG. 3, for example, can be used for commissioning. The same consists of a base body 10 made of insulating material, in which a pin 12 of the switching pin 18 is guided and to which four insulated, opposite clamps 14, fastened from below by means of screws 13, together with the contact springs 15 and the button bracket 16 are fastened. When the button 21 is pressed, the contacts 22 of the switching pin 18 touch the four contact springs 15, whereby the circuit is closed. When the button 21 is released, the spring 17 lifts the switching pin 18 from the contact springs 15 again, which turns it off.
