<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
vorgesehen.
Fig. 1) und der Kabelzug 6a ist gespannt.

The invention relates to a ski boot with a shell with sole holding the foot at least in the instep area and a shaft surrounding the leg and a template locking device arranged on the shaft.
A ski boot is known from US Pat. No. 5,341,584 which comprises a shell and a shaft articulated thereon. An actuating device is provided on the shaft, by means of which an original fixing is achieved. At the same time, a cable pull is actuated which, with its free end, which engages a tab of the shaft, and in its entirety replaces a shaft buckle. To open the ski boot, a conventional buckle has to be opened and the operating device has to be actuated. A disadvantage is that a loosening of the foot, e.g. B. when lifting or walking, is only possible by actuating two locking mechanisms. Furthermore, when the ski boot is open, the cable pull can jump out of the anchorage and must therefore be brought back into its locked position to close it.
Another ski boot is shown and described in FR 2 692 447 A1. The shaft locking is accomplished exclusively by a cable pull. For the purpose of rough presetting, the cable pull can be hooked into different positions, but this has the disadvantage that when the ski boot is opened temporarily, the cable pull can come loose from its anchoring and a secure closing of the ski boot is no longer guaranteed.
The object of the invention is to provide a ski boot with a releasable template locking device in which the shaft locking device is loosened when the template locking device is released.
According to the invention, this is solved by the features of claim 1. Characterized in that the shaft locking device has a buckle with a bracket element and a hooking device, the latter with a base body
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
and is provided with a hook element which is mounted longitudinally displaceable to a limited extent thereon, and that the hook element is connected to the template adjustment device in a force-transmitting manner via a connecting element, when the template fixing device is loosened, a loosening of the foot in the shaft area is achieved at the same time.
The features of claim 2 characterize an advantageous structural design of the hook element.
An advantageous embodiment of the connecting element is protected by the characterizing part of claim 3.
The arrangement of the components according to the features of claim 4 ensures safe actuation of the shaft locking device. The features of claim 5 prevent the hook element from falling out of the base body. The features of claim 6 enable simple assembly of an interlocking element according to the invention. The characterizing part of claim 7 protects a simple structural design and the features of claim 8 allow a partial relief of the cable pull.
The invention is described in more detail using the following exemplary embodiments. 1 shows a ski boot with a shaft locking device according to the invention and a template locking device in elevation. 2 shows a first embodiment of the tensioned shaft locking device in a longitudinal central section and in FIG. 3 in a top view. FIGS. 4 and 5 show a second exemplary embodiment corresponding to FIGS. 2 and 3.
Fig. 1 shows a ski boot 1, 1 'with a shell 2, 2' and with a on this about a transverse axis la. The shaft 3, 3 'is divided into two sections 3a, 3b, 3'a, 3'b facing each other in its section facing the toes. With a correspondingly thin foot, these sections 3a, 3b, 3'a, 3'b can overlap. An instep locking device 4, 4 'is provided in the instep area of the ski boot 1, 1'.
On the shaft 3, 3 'a template locking device 5, 5' is arranged, which via a connecting element 6, 6 '- which

is advantageously formed by a cable pull 6a, 6'a and at least one deflection roller 6b, 6'b-is connected to a shaft locking device 7, 7 '. The cable pull 6a, 6'a and the deflection roller 6b, 6'b are advantageous

are therefore not described in detail.
In Figures 2 and 3, a first embodiment of a shaft locking device 7 is shown in a longitudinal central section in a plan view. This includes a buckle 8 with a bracket element 8a and a hooking device 9. The buckle 8, which is arranged on one section 3a of the shaft 3 and is only indicated schematically here, is not an object of the invention and is therefore not described in detail. The hooking device 9 essentially consists of a base body 10 and a hook element 11. The hook element 11 has on its upper side a number of hooks 11 which, in cooperation with the buckle 8 and with the clip element 8a thereof, enable adaptation to different foot thicknesses.
An essentially hook-shaped fastening projection 12 is formed on the base body 10 at its end section 10a facing the buckle 8. The base body 10 is hooked over the fastening projection 12 in an opening 3c of the section 3b of the shaft 3 carrying the base body 10 and at its end section 10b facing away from the buckle 8 by means of a fastening element 12a such as, for example, B. a rivet, connected to this section 3b of the shaft 3. Furthermore, the base body 10 has a recess 13 with two side surfaces 13e, 13f lying parallel to the longitudinal center line of the base body 10 and two end surfaces 13c, 13d. On the side surfaces 13e, 13f there is an inwardly pointing projection 13a, 13b at their upper sections
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
intended.
In this recess 13, the hook element 11 is mounted to be longitudinally displaceable. For this purpose, the hook element 11 has two shoulders 11a, 11b, which are complementary to the projections 13a, 13b and secure the hook element 11 against falling out of the base body 10. For assembly, the cable 6a is first inserted into the base body 10 and then the hook element 11 is inserted from below into the latter. The base body 10 is then hooked into the opening 3c with the hook-shaped fastening projection 12 and fixed to the section 3b of the shaft 3 by the fastening element 12a. The first end 6c of the cable pull 6a is further anchored in the base body 10.
The cable pull 6a is guided in a recess 11c of the hook element 11 and is connected at its second end 6d to the template fixing device 5 only shown in FIG. 1.
In the driving position of the ski boot 1, the actuating lever 5a of the template fixing device 5 is in a position with its free end pointing downward (see FIG. 1) and the cable pull 6a is tensioned. The hook element 11 rests with a first stop surface 11e on a counter surface 13c of the recess 13 and is held in this position by the cable pull 6a. By closing the buckle 8, the foot is fixed in the shoe 1. In order to get into the walking position of the ski boot 1, the actuating lever Sa of the template fixing device 5 is pivoted by approximately 1800, so that a movement between the shaft 3 and the shell 2 is made possible and the cable pull 6a is relaxed.
The hook element 11 slides through the pretensioned position of the buckle 8 into the relaxed position until the second abutment surface 11f thereof bears against a further counter surface 13d of the recess 13 of the base body 10, so that the shaft locking device 7 relaxes when the buckle 8 is closed and thus a movement of the foot in the closed shoe 1 is made possible.
FIGS. 4 and 5 show a second exemplary embodiment of a shaft locking device 7 'according to the invention, which in turn includes a buckle 8' with a bracket element 8'a and a hooking device 9 ', the shaft locking device

Hook element 11 '. The base body 10 'is at its end portion 10'b facing away from the buckle 8' by means of a fastening element 12'a, such as. B. a rivet, connected to the section 3'b of the shaft 3 '.

Shaft 3 'has an elongated hole 14' and a recess 15 'overlying the elongated hole 14'. The base body 10 ′ has a recess 131 in which the hook element 11 ′ is guided so as to be longitudinally displaceable. The recess is again delimited by two side surfaces 13'e, 13'f and two end surfaces 13'c, 13'd, the side surfaces 13'e, 13'f preventing the hook element 11 'from laterally escaping.
Provided on the underside of the hook element 11 ′ is a rivet-shaped extension 16 ′ which projects through the elongated hole 14 ′ of the section 3 ′ b of the shank 3 ′ and is riveted to such an extent by means of a holding washer 16 ′ that the holding washer 16 ′ a in the Depression 15 'comes to rest.
On the end section 10'a of the base body 101 facing the buckle 8 ', the latter has latching teeth 17' which cooperate with latching teeth 11'g which are complementary on the underside of the hook element 11 '. The locking teeth 17 ', 11'g have a steep slope ss in the direction of the buckle 81 and a flat slope a in the direction of the buckle 8'weg

its second end 6'd connected to the template locking device 5 ', not shown.
The mode of operation of this exemplary embodiment corresponds essentially to that of the preceding one, but the hook element 11 ′ lies in the driving position of the ski boot with at least one locking tooth 11 ′ g on at least one corresponding locking tooth 17 ′ of the base body 10 ′. By closing the buckle 8 'the foot is fixed in the shoe 1'. The hook element 11 'is held in this position by the cable pull 6'a and this is in turn supported by the steep, adjacent, loaded gradients ss of the locking teeth 17', 11'g. In order to get into the walking position of the ski boot 1 ', the actuating lever 5'a of the master lock device is pivoted about an axis 5'b by about 1800 and the cable pull 6'a is thus relaxed.
The hook element 11 'can pivot counterclockwise about an ideal axis and through the pretensioned position of the buckle 8' into the relaxed position
EMI6.1
Gelungseinrichtung 7 'is now relaxed with the buckle 8' closed and thus allows movement of the foot. To close the ski boot 1 ', the actuating lever 5'a is again pivoted and the cable pull 6'a is tensioned. Due to the flat slopes a of the locking teeth 17 ', 11'g, they can slide against one another up to the tensioned position in which they are supported against one another with their steep slopes ss and thus support the cable pull 6'a.
The invention has been described above using two exemplary embodiments. It goes without saying that changes and modifications of the interlocking element according to the invention are possible without leaving the protection of the patent.
So z. B. the structural features of the two exemplary embodiments are combined with one another and the connecting element is formed by a Bowden cable, the Bowden cable sheathing being supported on the outside of the base body.
