Sprit-, Reinignngs-nd Entfettungsmittel.

Fuel, cleaning and degreasing agents.
The invention relates to a process for the production of rinsing, cleaning and degreasing agents, which is protected by the patent holder and consists in dissolving silica, suitably in finely divided form, in trisodium phosphate, preferably trisodium phosphate melt, and the mixture obtained in this way brought to dryness, expediently with simultaneous fine division. In this way, water-soluble ones are obtained in a single operation
Dishwashing, cleaning and degreasing agents, in addition to excellent washing and cleaning power
Have the advantage of not attacking aluminum, tin and their alloys.
The present invention makes the production of spilling, cleaning and degreasing agents significantly cheaper and simpler in the sense of the aforementioned process by adding small amounts of colloidal silica in dry form to solid trialkali phosphate, in particular trisodium phosphate, while eliminating the melting or boiling process will. The mixture obtained in this way, dissolved in hot water, provides ready-to-use solutions. It is not hygroscopic and does not bake or clump.
Example: 90 leg crystallizes trisodium phosphate are mixed dry with 10 leg silica gel. The result is a powder that flows well and dissolves easily in hot water. In place of the silica gel you can also use kieselguhr with the same success.
It is known per se to add water glass to trisodium phosphate in order to reduce or eliminate the corrosive effect of the phosphate on aluminum. By simply mixing trisodium phosphate with water glass one only gets hygroscopic and therefore baking and clumping products. In order to obtain flawless, non-hygroscopic products, a solution of the two substances with the addition of solid, calcined soda must be subjected to spray drying. In contrast, according to the invention, by simply mixing trialkali phosphate with colloidal silica, a perfectly packable, non-hygroscopic, non-baking and free-flowing product is obtained which has the same good properties as the known cleaning agents described above.
Small amounts of trisodium phosphate, soda and water glass have also been added to scouring sand. This agent differs from the products according to the invention in that the sand, which is not colloidal, is the actual cleaning agent, while in the agents according to the invention the colloidal silica has a different task, namely the corrosion of aluminum or tin by the Trialkali phosphate is intended to prevent. For this reason, the subject of the invention is not comparable with the proposals for the use of colloidal silica as an abrasive per se.
