Die Erfindung befasst sich mit dem Ersatz der beim Skilauf verwendeten Seehundsfelle mit einem neuen, für diesen Zweck hergestellten Material. Es ist bekannt, dass die an den Skiern zu befestigenden Seehundsfelle die Aufgabe haben beim Bergansteigen das Zurückgleiten zu verhindern ; diese Felle sind sehr teuer. Die Fig. 1 zeigt unter c die Schussfäden eines beliebigen wasserfesten, gegebenenfalls imprägnierten Gewebes b. In diese Gewebe werden Drähte, Borsten, Fäden oder Fasern a eines steifen widerstandsfähigen Materiales in der Weise eingezogen, dass diese Drähte u. dgl. ähnlich den Haaren an den Fellen gleichgerichtet nach einer Seite, schräge zur Stoffbahn verlaufen.
Die auf diese Weise eingezogenen Drähte od. dgl. können nicht wie die eingewachsenen Haare der Felle ausfallen, sondern werden bis zur Zerstörung aufgebraucht.
Die Fig. 2 stellt. eine andere Ausführungsart des Erfindungsgegenstandes dar, u. zw. sind zur Erhöhung der Dauerhaftigkeit zwei Stoffbahnen b und d vorgesehen. Zugleich wird hiedurch auch das Schrägelegen der Borsten, Drähte od. dgl. a ; erleichtert,, indem bei den Vorarbeiten so vorgegangen wird, dass zum Einziehen der Borsten od. dgl. a die Schussfaden c und e der beiden Stoffbahnen b und cl senkrecht übereinander stehen. Dementsprechend- können die Borsten od. dgl. senkrecht eingezogen werden.
Vor dem Vernähen der beiden Stoffbahnen werden dieselben gegeneinander verschoben, so dass sich die Borsten od. dgl. in der aus der Abbildung ersichtlichen Weise umlegen.
