Flaschenzug.

Pulley.
In pulley blocks, apart from the use of chains, single ropes have been used as pulling elements. This single rope runs around the fixed and loose pulleys of the pulley system and is either anchored with both ends on the drum or drums or attached with one end to the drum and the other end to a fixed point. The stacking of the individual ropes in pulley blocks has hitherto been done in such a way that the rope is wound onto the drum or drums either in adjacent turns or in superimposed turns
EMI1.1
winding back and forth on the drum results in a wide drum and the disadvantage of unfavorable support conditions.
Apart from these disadvantages, pulley blocks with single ropes have the disadvantage that the tension compensation under the individual rope strands of the single rope takes place in equal proportions of the total load through the loose and fixed pulleys of the pulley alone. If it is a question of coping with large loads, the individual pulling element, which is expediently made of a band, must be kept wide, which causes great lateral rigidity and, when the diagonal pulls that are unavoidable in operation, also cause harmful edge stresses.
The invention aims not only to stack the pulling element of the pulley block in the most space-saving way possible, but also to withstand harmful edge and torsional stresses. For this purpose, the pulling element is divided into several rope strands, which are stacked next to one another and individually in layers on top of one another on the drum or drums and whose length and force compensation is effected by a compensation device.
Some embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a type of previously known stacking of the single rope in pulley blocks. 2 and 3 show in a schematic representation sections of cable drums for pulley blocks of the present invention. In Fig. 4 a block and tackle is shown with a two-part pulling element and compensating device. Fig. 5 shows a plan view of the compensation device according to Fig. 4. according to FIG. 6. In FIGS. 8 and 9, a block and tackle with four-part pulling element and compensating device is shown in a front view and a side view. 10 is a partial view of a block and tackle with a six-part pulling element.
In the one shown in FIG. known type of stacking of the single rope of a pulley system is 1 and the rope drum. 3 represents the single rope stacked on this rope drum. The single rope

the rope would be very wide and have great lateral stiffness. Damage to the edge stresses in the pulling rope would also arise as a result of the inevitable traction and torsional stresses in operation.

angular cross-section. These strands of rope jointly exercise the function of a single pulling element and are stacked next to one another and individually in layers on top of one another on the drum 1. In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the pulling element of the pulley system consists of four Rinzel rope strands fi

fully square cross-section. The individual rope strands 6 are again stacked next to one another and one above the other on the drum. By forming the pulling element into two or more individual rope strands, in particular those with a square cross-section, any lateral rigidity of the pulling element is completely avoided.
In particular, the individual cable strands of the pulling element can also adjust as desired. In contrast to the previously known pulley blocks, all rope strands belonging to a pulling element are attached to the drum, e.g. B. involved and roll up or down as the drum rotates.
The pulley block according to FIGS. 4 and 5 consists of a drum 1, a pulling element 8, a movable roller 10 with load hook 11, a guide roller 12 and a compensating device x. The tension member 8 is formed by two individual rope strands 8 ', 8 ". The compensating device a; consists of

hinged. The lever 24 acting in the manner of a balancer likewise effects a length and force balance in the two rope strands 18 ', 18 ", since when one rope strand is shortened it adjusts itself so that the second rope strand is lengthened by the same amount.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 8 and 9, 1 represents the drum of the pulley block, 30 its pulling element, 31 the loose rollers carrying the load hook 82 and 3. 3 a fixed roller. X is the compensating device. In this exemplary embodiment, the pulling element 30 is formed by four strands of rope. The compensation device a; consists of a compensating pulley block. 35 is the rope of the pulley block; the same runs alternately over the rollers 36 and 37 in the manner shown in FIG. 9 and is anchored to the bottle 40 with its two ends 38, 39. An upper roller 36 of the compensating pulley block x is connected to one rope strand 30 in each case.
In the present exemplary embodiment, this takes place in such a way that a fork 42 is placed on the end of each rope strand

resulting differences in lengths and tensile forces in the rope strands.
The block and tackle shown in FIG. 10 only in its lower parts has a pulling element 50 divided into six rope strands. The rope strands 50 run over loose rollers 51 which are connected to the bottle 53 of the hoist with the interposition of the compensation device ce. The bottle 53 carries the loose rollers 54 of the pulley block and the load hook 66. Run over the loose rollers 54

Block and tackle ensures, regardless of the number of individual rope strands, the length and force balance in the rope strands 50, since the roller pairs 51, 60 can be set independently of one another and the load is evenly distributed on the rope strands 56 or the individual rope strands 50 of the cylinder 53 in any position Flasehenzuges distributed.
The compensation devices x are expediently always built into the pulley block where the smallest forces occur, e.g. B. as in the embodiment according to FIGS. 8-10 in the bottle. the end of the pulling element guided by the load hook.
