Es ist demnach   eine sehr gute   Wärmeausnutzl1ng'erzielt gegenüber andern   bekannten Einrichtungen, bei denen man eine Aussenbeheizung anwendet. Da derartige Tellertrockner in ziemlich grossen Abmessungen gebaut werden, bedeutet die Verlegung der Beheizung in den mittleren Raum auch eine erhebliche Werkstofferspamis.

   Ausserdem kann man bei dieser Anordnung die   au ? dem   mittleren Raum abziehenden Heizgase zur Vergrösserung der mittelbaren Heizfläche auch noch an der äusseren Wandung des Trockenraumes weiterleiten (Kanal   t   ;), ohne die   Zugänglichkeit   des   Trockenraumes   von aussen zu beeinträchtigen. 



   Der den mittleren, zur Beheizung dienenden Schacht abgrenzende, sich drehende Mantel kann   zweckmässig   aus Wellblech mit in horizontaler Ebene verlaufenden Wellen bestehen, wodurch die   Heizflächen   vergrössert werden und der Mantel zugleich an Festigkeit gewinnt. Ausserdem kann man in dem mittleren Heizraum b   Leit-und Prallflächen   anbringen, um den Weg der Heizgase beliebig zu   vergrössem.
