Kesselfeuerungska. mmer.

Kesselfeuerungska. mmer.
Boiler firings are known in which the side walls and the bottom of the fire chamber and possibly also the vault are designed in the manner of a framework framework that receives water cooling and consists of rows of water pipes between or around which masonry is attached or panels are arranged.
The invention relates to a boiler furnace of this type and consists essentially in the fact that cast iron plates are placed on the pipes forming the floor, which plates support the floor masonry.
The drawing illustrates an embodiment of the invention. 1 is a cross-section through the pulverized coal furnace of a steam boiler system which is built according to the invention, and FIG. 2 is a section through the masonry, the plates supporting the masonry and the pipes of the chamber floor.
1 are water pipes that are separate from one another and form a framework for the four side walls and the bottom of the combustion chamber 2. These tubes 1 are connected to chambers 3 at their ends. The

are arranged. The usual steel casing 5 is separated from the masonry in order to form an air space for the purpose of cooling the masonry outside, while the vertical pipes serve to cool the masonry inside and at the same time serve to generate steam.
According to the invention, the pipes forming the bottom framework of the chamber carry molded cast iron support members 6 which partially surround the pipes and between them and serve to support the masonry 7 forming the floor of the furnace. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the parts 6 are provided with cooling ribs 8 on their lower sides.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Boiler firing chamber, the side walls and floor of which, and possibly also the vault, consist of water pipes, laid between and around the masonry, which is cooled inside by water and outside by air, characterized in that cast iron plates (6th) are placed on the pipes forming the floor ) are placed that support the floor masonry (7).
