Method of making electrical wire connections Ulgell.
The invention relates to a method for producing electrical wire connections of the type in which the bare wire ends are inserted into a sleeve. Up to now a metal sleeve was necessary for this, which had conical or similar screw threads on the inner wall and on which an insulating cap was then placed on the outside.
The aim of the present invention is to produce wire connections of this type in a simpler manner and to use only a single part instead of the two parts customary up to now. Accordingly, the essence of the new invention is that the insulating cap is galvanically provided with a metallic coating on its inner side intended to receive the bare wire ends. This has the further advantage that the galvanic coating

An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing.
2 denotes the insulating cap, which is provided on the inside with helical notches or the like 4, which extend cylindrically in the inner parts facing the closed end of the cap and widen conically towards the outside. According to the invention, these screw threads are now metallized, in particular in their inner part, which is cylindrical in the exemplary embodiment, ie. i.e., it is in any suitable manner, e.g. B. by galvanic means, a metal coating as thick as possible is applied to the insulating mass in order to establish electrical conductivity.
The galvanic process would be necessary in this case. that a conductive layer of graphite or the like is applied to the non-conductive mass of the sleeve by means of some kind of adhesive. which then allows the metal to deposit on the screw threads in the galvanic bath. It is of course also possible to give the sleeve 2, into which the bare ends of the lead wires are to be introduced, any other desired configuration without thereby changing the essence of the invention.
