Abstract

Secadora de granos del tipo que comprende una estructura principal vertical constituida por un cuerpo central a través del cual pasa el grano a secar, una cámara anterior de ingreso de aire caliente y una cámara posterior de salida del aire servido, siendo que el cuerpo principal presenta en su parte superior una entrada desde donde se cargan los granos húmedos, debajo de la cual se encuentra una tolva de carga que se comunica con el cuerpo central, descendiendo el grano a lo largo del cuerpo central dentro del cual es secado durante su caída por un flujo de aire caliente que atraviesa la masa de grano, para finalmente salir por una tolva de descarga dispuesta en el extremo inferior de la secadora, estando la secadora de la presente caracterizada porque permite reducir notablemente el consumo energético de manera de obtener una mejor calidad de grano y un proceso mucho más rápido que los convencionales gracias a la disposición de una o varias cámaras de precalentamiento sin extracción de humedad del grano.
