Abstract
La presente consiste en un caracterizador electrónico portátil de fibras de origen animal, utilizando la tecnología de análisis digital de imágenes. El equipo está conformado por 4 partes: mecánica, electrónica, óptica e informática, que interactúan como un sistema permitiendo medir diámetro promedio y su desviación estándar, así como factor de confort, factor de picazón, monitoreando la temperatura y la humedad relativa ambiental, con precisión y exactitud, para lo cual el funcionamiento del equipo pasa por el encendido del equipo, preparación de muestras, calibración rápida con muestra patrón que tiene diámetro promedio entre 17 y 19 mm, evaluación de la muestra, visualización de resultados y obtención de reportes de las mediciones. Las mejoras al estado de arte están basadas en su portabilidad (tiene dimensiones y peso menor), especificidad para la medición de determinadas fibras gruesas y delgadas, potencialidad de medición en muestras de fibras poco disgregadas y visualización nítida de imágenes de las fibras que son medidas en tiempo real, debido a interacción de sus componentes tales como detector de imagen de alta velocidad, obturador de detector de imagen, lente y tornillo de enfoque manual, así como la obtención de resultados en forma digital e impresa. Adicionalmente se describe la preparación de muestras bajo condiciones de campo, permitiendo al equipo usarse en condiciones de campo. Particularidad adicional del equipo es su capacidad para la medición de fibras gruesas (pelos) en forma automática también en forma precisa y exacta debido a la implementación de una calibración rápida con una muestra patrón con rangos de diámetro entre 60 y 80 mm.This is a portable electronic characterizer of fibers of animal origin, using digital image analysis technology. The equipment is made up of 4 parts: mechanical, electronic, optical and computer, which interact as a system allowing to measure average diameter and its standard deviation, as well as comfort factor, itching factor, monitoring the temperature and the relative environmental humidity, with precision and accuracy, for which the operation of the equipment goes through the ignition of the equipment, sample preparation, rapid calibration with standard sample that has an average diameter between 17 and 19 mm, evaluation of the sample, visualization of results and obtaining reports of the measures. The improvements to the state of the art are based on its portability (it has smaller dimensions and weight), specificity for the measurement of certain thick and thin fibers, measurement potential in samples of poorly disintegrated fibers and clear visualization of images of the fibers that are measured in real time, due to the interaction of its components such as high-speed image detector, image detector shutter, lens and manual focus screw, as well as obtaining results in digital and printed form. Additionally, the preparation of samples under field conditions is described, allowing the equipment to be used in field conditions. Additional particularity of the equipment is its ability to measure thick fibers (hairs) automatically also precisely and accurately due to the implementation of a rapid calibration with a standard sample with ranges of diameter between 60 and 80 mm.
