Abstract

Además se refiere a métodos para generar plantas resistentes a un factor biótico o abiótico en particular una planta de tomate resistente a Xanthomonas euvesicatoria y a las plantas obtenidas. Reivindicación 1: El gen xcv-1 aislado de Capsicum annuum, que es responsable de una resistencia resistiva a Xanthomonas euvesicatoria y que posee la secuencia de nucleótidos representada por la Id. de Sec. Nº 37, o la secuencia de ADNc del gen xcv-1, que es la secuencia de nucleótidos de la Id. de Sec. Nº 90. Reivindicación 8: Una proteína nucleasa diseñada específica para la secuencia de ADN de un gen homólogo al gen Xcv-1 silvestre (Id. de Sec. Nº 41), que reconoce selectivamente y corta el segmento de ADN que codifica la región CYSTM del gen homólogo al gen Xcv-1 silvestre, o ciertas secuencias parciales del mismo.
