Abstract
Se proveen métodos para desoxigenar aceite de pirólisis derivado de biomasa. En una realización, un método para desoxigenar un aceite de pirólisis derivado de biomasa comprende las etapas de combinar un caudal de aceite de pirólisis derivado de biomasa, con un caudal de reciclado diluyente de pyoil con bajo contenido de oxígeno caliente para formar una caudal de alimentación de pyoil diluido caliente. El caudal de alimentación de pyoil diluido caliente tiene una temperatura de alimentación de 150ºC o mayor. El caudal de alimentación de pyoil diluido caliente se pone en contacto con un primer catalizador de desoxigenación en presencia de hidrógeno a las primeras condiciones de hidroprocesamiento eficaces para obtener un efluente de aceite de pirólisis derivado de biomasa con bajo contenido de oxígeno.
