Abstract

La presente se refiere a ciertas composiciones de catalizador y procesos que son capaces de reducir los compuestos de azufre que se encuentran normalmente como parte de las corrientes de la fraccion de gasolina de procesos de cracking fluidos. La presente es una composicion de catalizador de cracking que comprende una zeolita en combinacion con un componente que contiene ácido de Lewis, en la cual la composicion de cracking comprende 0,2% de Na2O o menos. Se ha encontrado que los compuestos de azufre en materiales de alimentacion de hidrocarburo para procesos de cracking catalítico fluido pueden ser reducidos en al menos 15% en comparacion con la misma composicion que no comprende el componente que contiene el ácido de Lewis anteriormente mencionado. Reivindicacion 45: Un proceso mejorado para el craqueo catalítico de material de alimentacion de hidrocarburo que contiene compuestos de azufre orgánicos que comprende poner en contacto en un reactor de cracking catalítico de una unidad de cracking catalítico fluido un stock de composicion de catalizador de cracking fluido, retirar las corrientes de producto líquido y gaseoso de dicho reactor, transferir una porcion del stock a regeneradores de dicha unidad para eliminar contaminantes antes de hacer regresar el mismo al reactor, eliminar una porcion del stock de dicha unidad reemplazando simultáneamente la misma con composicion de catalizador fresca para proporcionar un estado de equilibrio de dicho stock, comprendiendo la mejora (1) adicionar al stock de composicion de catalizador de cracking fluido en la unidad una composicion de catalizador de cracking fresco que comprende: (a) zeolita, y (b) componente de ácido de Lewis, en la cual la composicion de catalizador de cracking comprende además 0,20% en peso de Na2O o menos, y (2) recuperar un produco líquido que tiene un punto de ebullicion de hasta 200sC, teniendo dicho producto líquido un contenido de azufre que es al menos 15% en peso más bajo que aquél logrado mediante una composicion constituida por el mismo catalizador de zeolita sin componente que contiene ácido de Lewis (b).
