Abstract

Se provee un tensor para generar tensión en una correa de transmisión (12, 12A, 112, 112A). El tensor comprende una base (22, 22A, 122, 122A), la cual puede ser asegurada a un motor (10, 10A, 110, 110A), y un brazo (24, 24A, 124, 125, 124A, 125A) que está montado en forma movible a la base. Una polea loca (26, 26A, 126, 127, 126A, 127A) está montada giratoriamente al brazo para acoplar con la correa. Un resorte (28, 28A, 128, 128A) está conectado operativamente al brazo (24, 24A, 124, 125, 124A, 125A) y a la base (22, 22A, 122, 122A) para urgir al brazo a desplazarse en relación a la base en una primera dirección. Cuando el brazo es desplazado, en la primera dirección, la polea loca (26, 26A, 126, 127, 126A, 127A) es movida en relación de acoplamiento con la correa (12, 12A, 112, 112A) con una fuerza para tensar la correa.
