Abstract
Un caudalímetro que tiene una carcaza que encierra un unico tubo recto circundado por una barra de compensacion. Los extremos de la barra de compensacionestán acoplados por una barra de anclaje al tubo de flujo, como también por elementos devinculac ion de conexion con la carcasa a la pared interna de lacarcasa. Los extremos del tubo de flujo están acoplados a bridas extremas por medio de un elemento sobresaliente que tiene una abertura central para recibircon efecto sellante laextremidad del t ubo de flujo. El tubo de flujo proyecta más allá del extremo de la carcaza y está acoplado con efecto sellante a unelemento conector de cono en el extremo de la carcaza. Un hueco es definido por el espacio comprendido entre lasuperficie externa del tubo de flujo y lasuperficie interna del elemento conector de cono y las bridas extremas para minimizar el área superficial del tubo de flujo que es afectado por la soldaduraentre el extremo de la carcasa y el elementosobresaliente de las bridas ext remas. Los elementos de vinculacion de conexion con la carcasa contienen codosfuera de plano para dar cabida a cambios en el diámetro efectivo de la carcasa y la barra de compensacion entre sí, debido a condicionestérmicas cambiantes.Otra realizacio n del invento incluye un caudalímetro sin las bridas extremas. Los extremos del tubo de flujo proyectan más allá de los extremos de la carcasay están acoplados con efecto sellante al elemento conector de cono enlos extremos de la carcasa. El caudalí metro puede ser fabricado, ensayado, y compensado yalmacenado sin una brida. El caudalímetro es almacenado en esta condicion hasta que su uso comercial sea inminente, en cuyo momento es provisto de lasbridasextremas apropiadas que sean requeridas po r el usuario final.
