Abstract

　入力や出力にコンタクタなどの機械接点スイッチを用いないでＰＷＭ信号の遮断ができる安全停止回路を備えた電力変換装置を提供する。 　直流を交流に変換するインバータ部（１２）を駆動するゲート駆動回路（１１）とゲート駆動回路（１１）に与えるＰＷＭ信号（２）を生成するＰＷＭ発生回路（１）との間に介在される安全停止回路（５０）において、外部電力遮断用端子（７）、（８）と外部電力遮断用端子（７）、（８）と連動してＰＷＭ信号（２）、（３）のいずれかを遮断するＰＷＭ信号遮断回路（５）、（６）とで構成し、外部電力遮断用端子（７）、（８）が開状態のときにＰＷＭ信号遮断回路（５）、（６）が遮断することでゲート駆動回路（１１）へのＰＷＭ信号（４）を遮断するようにした。
